The B&B guesthouse, which has three generously appointed guest rooms, is totally separate from the main residence. It's equally suited for individual couples or for a small group of friends who want to spend an indulgent weekend together.

All bedrooms have king-sized beds, ensuites, TVs and DVD players. An ideal way to end the evening is to snuggle up together in the big bed with port and chocolates, watching a favourite DVD.

Polished floorboards, vibrant rugs, antiques, soft furnishings and the finest bed linen complete the warm, stylish ambience of Berry Mountain Bed and Breakfast. Breakfast in the guesthouse is an over-the-top affair. Raspberry and blackberry compote with honeyed yoghurt, poached fruits, fresh fruit salad, and homemade nutty muesli. To follow, a choice of pesto mushrooms and scrambled eggs, a smoked salmon stack with potato rosto and hollandaise sauce, a full farmhouse breakfast, buttermilk pancakes, bruschetta and croissants.

Berry Mountain B&B is only a short drive from the quaint shops and cafes of Berry, golf courses, wineries, national parks and rainforest walks. Take your pick from a dozen beaches - some almost deserted - from Jervis Bay to Gerringong, or retreat from the summer heat to your cool verandah for a sundowner.
